Searching for your driving license by name and address is an easy job now. You just have to enter the correct details, and you can get all the information . Following are the steps discussed to get the details online :-

• Visit the official Parivahan portal, Click here.
• Go inside the other services section, click on it , and proceed.
• Select your state name.

• You will find the Others section.
• Inside it, You will find scroll down .
• Click on, Find Application Number section, and proceed.

• Enter your state name, and choose the state code.
• Select your RTO name, and RTO code.
• Enter your required details, like Name, Date of Birth, 

• Enter the captcha code, and Click on the submit button.
• Now, for authentication, enter your number and an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. 
• Enter the given OTP.
• Opened page will display your driving license details, along with your driving license number.

 

What to do If you have lost your Driving License ?

 

If you have somehow misplaced or lost your driving license, you need to visit the nearest police station , and lodge an FIR for the same. You need to File a complaint regarding this and ensure that you have received a copy of the First Information Report (FIR).

Then you would need to Visit the notary’s office to obtain an affidavit on stamp paper. Affidavit will serve as a proof that you have taken an oath before the concerned officer (Executive Magistrate/Notary Public/First Class Judicial Magistrate) that your license has been lost. Thus, visit the offices in person, make a complaint, and download the required details from the Parivahan portal.

These steps should be taken immediately , right after you realize that you have lost your Driving License, as it contains your personal details.
